Roger Catania announced to Cloudsplitter Board

The Cloudsplitter Foundation is pleased to announce the election of its newest board member, Doctor Roger Catania.

Dr. Catania served for eight years as Superintendent for the Lake Placid Central School District before his retirement in 2021. In June of 2022 he was appointed to the New York State Board of Regents. Currently, Dr. Catania also serves on the Board of the Essex County Prevention Team and the Educational Opportunity Fund for the Lake Placid Central School District. Additionally, he contributes to the Adirondack Birth-to-Three Alliance as a member of its steering committee.

“Dr. Catania will help bring a deep knowledge of local education and childcare to the Cloudsplitter Foundation’s already talented board. Dr. Catania and his wife Amy live in Saranac Lake, NY where their sons Louis and James were born, raised, and graduated from the Saranac Lake Central School District
