Submit Your Grant Request
Please use the form below to submit your grant request. If you need assistance filling out this form, please contact Chenelle directly at 518-992-4900. Once your request has been submitted, our grants director will acknowledge receipt. If you do not hear from us within a few days, please contact us to be sure your request has been received. Grant applications will only be accepted from legal 501c3 entities. If you are not a 501c3, you must have a fiscal sponsor with 501c3 status apply on your behalf.
The 2025 request deadlines are January 1st, May 1st and September 1st. Applications must be received no later than 5pm for consideration in the next cycle. Requests received after 5pm will be considered in a subsequent funding round.
Cloudsplitter will only accept one application, per applicant, per grant round. Exception applies if a nonprofit is acting as a fiscal sponsor on behalf of another grant applicant.
*NOTE* There are 3 different “Grant Request” sections depending on the type of grant you are requesting, and the choice you click on below.
Our definitions of types of grants are as follow:
Program/Project Grant: These grants are to support a well-defined project or program that has a defined need, budget, and associated supporting documentation. These include events. For requests over $50,000 the grant application (automatically) will require additional details. Program/Project grants will only be considered during the normal grant cycles.
Unrestricted Support Grant: These grants support a not-for-profit’s operating costs and not specific projects or programs. Max of $5,000. Unrestricted Support Grants will only be considered during the normal grant cycles.
Rapid Response Grant: These grants are reserved only for special cases where an urgent need cannot wait for the next planned grant round. Max of $5,000.
