Daniel KieferBach comes to Cloudsplitter Foundation as our first Executive Director at a time when we no longer simply respond to grant requests. We now self-initiate projects, provide bridge and matching financing to improve the success of larger grants, and partner with other not-for-profits and the state to multiply the impact on our region. Dan has the experience and local knowledge to continue this strategic evolution.
Until recently Dan was the Community Development Coordinator with LivingADK where he developed grassroots community programs for towns in the Old Forge region. Dan’s job has been to promote vibrant and sustainable communities along the Route 28 corridor within the towns of Forestport, Webb, Inlet, Long Lake and adjacent communities. Dan is also a board member of AdkAction and has been active in many other initiatives throughout the Park.
Dan has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business and community psychology from SUNY and UMASS. He and his wife Tayler live on Fourth Lake (in the Fulton Chain) and have one daughter, Logan Scout. Dan will be based in the Old Forge area, making the southwest of the Park more visible to the Foundation’s philanthropy.
