St. Lawrence University (Nature Up North)

Nature Up North focuses on educating public school children about the region’s environment, and on organizing citizen science projects rooted in the natural world. Current funding will support a new citizen science project: North Country Wild (NCW). NCW focuses on the use of trail cameras as learning tools. Nature Up North is working with several local libraries and public school teachers to deploy cameras in a variety of habitats. This participation will help build out the existing database on local wildlife.
