Saranac Lake Civic Center

The Saranac Lake Civic Center is a multi-purpose facility that serves residents and visitors year-round. It is a non-profit organization and is locally owned by the Saranac Lake Pee Wee Hockey Association. This is a unique situation where the youth actually own the rink. They have games that bring in teams from the entire North Country every weekend and Can-Am tournaments that bring in people from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and around the Northeast. The Civic Center’s versatile and ample space allows it to host a variety of ice events during the winter, along with summer shows and programs, at an affordable price to participants.

A grant request was submitted to Cloudsplitter in April 2016 to seek support for a number of upgrades to the building.  The civic center has completed many renovations and improvements in recent years to make the space safer and more enjoyable for users.
