In 2017 a committee of parents and others approached the Cloudsplitter Foundation to help fund safe ADA-compliant playground additions that would assists approximately 66 students, or 25% of the student body. The Board authorized a grant of $10,000, half of the amount requested, in April of 2017. All equipment was purchased and installed by later 2017.
